Educators Martina Fischer and Franz Paul Enzinger invite you on a journey through two worlds: Leopold Kohr's intellectual world and his interesting life stages. In the "Think Further" section, readers are invited to examine texts and thought-provoking exercises with a "Leopold Kohr perspective."

 

Leopold Kohr, born in Oberndorf near Salzburg, became known worldwide primarily for summarizing his theories under the motto "small is beautiful." He received the Alternative Nobel Prize for this in 1983. The "human dimension" as a yardstick for action and thought is timeless and should become a guiding principle in all areas of life, but especially in contemporary economics and politics.

To convey this primarily to the younger generation, whose perspective will influence the world of tomorrow.
